Jaxon Day Meets Mr. Bunny

This is the story of my first Easter. I dedicate this story to Grandma White because I love her and she was here on my first Easter!

One day I woke up and Mr. bunny was waiting to tell me some important news. He said he had left a basket full of presents somewhere in the house for me to find. I thought this was odd but I'll play your game Mr. Bunny. So Mommy and Daddy scooped me up and I was on my way!

First I looked on the couch.....
Then I looked in my crib. Did you see anything Monkeys?
I sat in my chair to think for a moment. I have an idea of where my basket could be....
.........but it was not on my changing table.

It was also not in my bath tub.

So I decided to ask my Lady if she had seen anything. She said she had not but she thought I better keep searching.

I layed in my pack'n'play where all my good ideas come to me at night and there was my good friend Bug. He told me he did see Mr. Bunny sneaking around the house last night & he wondered what he was up too. He said I better check outside!

So I went out to the porch and looked all around the chairs but still no basket.

I came back inside to have a chat with my new friend Blonkey. He whispered to me that Bug's story of seeing Mr. Bunny was true and said he did see a basket full of goodies. He was not sure where they were though.

I opened the mailbox since I have gotten so many goodies from there in the past. It was empty!

So I went inside to ponder for a moment. I thought to myself where could this basket be. All my friends told me the story was true and to keep looking.

I looked in my swing.

I asked my woof woof Drew-G.

I even asked the Durango's navigator where it might be!! And finally I got a break. It told me to go around the kitchen, straight through the living room, turn left at the dinning room table, bypass the bedroom and arrive safely in Mommy & Daddy's bath tub.

Hooray!!!! I finally found what I was looking for. Now I can have Mommy, Daddy and Grandma White help me play with my new stuff.

Thank you so much Mr. Bunny! I love all my books, clothes and toys. I hope to see you again next year. Happy Easter!!

Insert witty quote here.

I don't know how this ring got on my arm but I like it!

Wait Til We Get Our Hanes On You!

Nick and I feel like our little man could be the next poster child for the Hanes underwear commercials! Well I guess we could add a fruit basket to the top of his head and he could also be competitive for Fruit of the Loom.

Grandma White Came To Play

***Note: I just realized that I forgot to post this blog from when my Mom was here to visit. It has been sitting as a draft all this time. Sorry Mom!

My mom came to visit this last week for her spring break and it was so great to have her here. She was an extra set of hands to hold Jaxon and it allowed us to have some free time to get more things done around the house and of course be able to go out of the house for a night out. We also visited the Easter Bunny, shopped at the mall, went to the beach a few times, the zoo, the park and as you can tell I even found the time to get her hair cut. We love that she could find the time to come down and we will be patiently awaiting her next trip down!! Jaxon also says " ah-gaa, coooo..., ahhhhh!!" (Love you Grandma!!)
