Happy Halloween

April and I had an awesome time last Friday carving our pumpkins. Last year for halloween I was on a plane bound for the mideast and I just can't tell you how greatful I am to be at home for this year's festivities. Now you may all be thinking why did you carve them a week in advance? Well I guess I wanted to make sure I had the memories no matter where I was on Friday. We also roasted the seeds but decided that the normal salt wouldn't do, so we spiced them up with some Tony Chachere's and cayenne, mmm mmm.

We also have been on sort of a chili-kick, which just seems to go perfectly with the crisp fall weather. I'm also a little bit worried, being new homeowners isn't stressful enough without the fear that some neighborhood ne'er-do-wells will engage in more trickery than treatery. So we've bought some pretty good candy to try and bribe the neighborhood kids. I even checked with the CPSC no melamine in this chocolate.

The only bad part so far was the fact that my pumpkin pulled a frosty the snowman and melted, so now we are down to single pumpkin ops but I am confident that Halloween will be great!!

Here Is One Video!

Pictures from 4D Ultrasound----Video's coming soon!

Here are the photos from the 4D ultrasound we had this last Saturday. It was the best! We drove to Tallahassee to go to the prenatal experience. It is set up like a spa. When we got there we were taken into the ultrasound room where they projected the images of the Nugget on the wall. We got to see him do cute things like make fishy faces, suck his thumb, play with his cord, and twice he made a mad face like he was letting out a scream. It was so amazing and it made us even more excited to meet our adorable little Nugget!

Nugget's Room

Nick and I have been spending most of of free time getting the Nugget's room ready for his arrival. Painting, putting together furniture, and finding places for all of his cute little things. The good news is now I can actually look into the guest room with out it looking like baby land. Now the next month will be spent going to baby classes. Everything from birthing classes, infant CPR, to breastfeeding class. So much stuff to learn and do all I can say is thankfully we get 40 weeks to do it all!! People who say "you have plenty of time it will all get done---take your time" are so full of it. :)

All the new baby gear!

Here are the pictures of all the baby gear we have finally decided on. It is so exciting to see all this stuff up and ready to put the little nugget in. Now we just have to work on keeping Drew-G, Kiwi, and Wasabi out of all the new toys.

Knock-Knock! It's me, Baby!

I have to say that the best thing right now about being pregnant are all the sweet little baby kicks. I have been told that eventually they can become annoying and even painful at times but for now I am enjoying my little karate kid inside. It is my own little secret that occasionally Nick gets to feel. The other day Nick was sitting in front of me with my stomach to his back and he got quite the baby beat down. :)
