July 5 - August 8

First off I would like to apologize for taking so long to update this blog. Things have been pretty crazy around here. Jaxon is crawling all over the place and he had his first ear infection which then led to finding out he was very allergic to his antibiotic which will probably still be in his system for the next week. Poor kidlet!! In addition to that Nick is preparing for a deployment and he will be driving us up to Wisconsin to stay for a couple months. So here are some of my favorite pics from July through the beginning of August.

Our friends from pilot training were in the area and spent the day with us. It was so nice to catch up and to see all of our kiddos together! Maybe next time we will meet them in North Dakota!!

We are So Backed Up

We are so backed up on blog entries, we are so sorry for those of you that follow our blog. Sometimes life happens. I thought the following picture deserved special attention.

April had her first shopping trip alone with Jaxon. I received this picture as a pix message while I was at work. Fortunately, for the last 7 months either I have shopped for the family or April and I have been able to shop together as a family. Well, things change and I got a very busy job at my squadron in the scheduling department. Basically for a two week period I am in charge of planning and then executing the flying schedule for the entire squadron. It is no small job and it is full of 12+ hour days.

It's very rewarding to be working in such an important position for the squadron but it definitely has shifted our family's dynamics. It's definitely been a struggle lately to get the flying I need to do done, do my job, and get prepared to drive April and Jaxon up north so I can deploy.

So sorry for the lack of updates but our family has been maxing it out just taking care of us.

Way to go April and Jaxon! And still stay tuned for updates, at some point we WILL update this blog!
