Jaxon Turns 2!!

We celebrated Jaxon's 2nd birthday on January 6th. I can't believe our little nugget is now 2 years old and about to be a big brother. I love this little guy so much!

He received a card in the mail from Grandpa Wabeke & Kathy and when he realized it lights up he had to immediately tear it apart to see how it works! My little engineer!
We snuck into his room before midnight on the 5th to get one last picture of our 1 year old.

Here is Jaxon's first picture being 2! I think he was a little stocked to have his picture taken first thing in the morning :)

I love his little face. He is so cute!

Jaxon asked for cheese balls for snack and I figured since it was his birthday that was okay!

When Daddy got home from work Jaxon and him got the mail and he had 3 more birthday cards. Jaxon loves to go get the mail so much.

The first one he opened was from Grandma & Grandpa White. Mickey is always a big hit!

He also got a puppy card from Aunt Cheryl.

And a homemade card from Grandma Great.

After opening cards we went outside to fly a kite. He loves kites thanks to Word World.

WEEEEE!

When we came in Jaxon did one of his favorite activities......."water water soap! water water soap!" This is one of my favorite things the boy says. It is so cute!!
We decided if Jaxon could choose where he would want to go to dinner it would involve chips so off to Mexican food we went. He was so tired because he had not napped and within 5 minutes of being there........

we were losing him.

Going going.......

gone! So Nick and I sat and enjoyed Jaxon's birthday dinner while I held the sleeping angel.

Jaxon's birthday gifts!

Don't worry we brought home some chips for him to enjoy when he woke up.

Then it was cake time!

Happy birthday to you!

Mmmmm!

Here Daddy try some.

I swear I did eat some Mommy!

After a quick bath and Jammie's it was time for the main event of the day. New toys!

To be honest he was so into his train table he could care less about opening anything else that night so we helped him out.

The next day I took Jaxon to his 2 year well baby check up. This was his first time being weighed on a big person scale. He weighed in at 29 1/2 lbs & was 34 3/4 inches long. They said it was 50% for height and 50-75% for weight. Considering he was not even on the chart for the first several months of his life we were very impressed!

Jaxon entertained himself with a little "water water soap" while he waited.

Ahhhhh....

He did not like getting his finger pricked for the iron test and did not like the band aid on there either!

When we got home I started stuffing party favor boxes for his friends.

I had to sneak this picture in. Our awesome babysitter Kathryn made these with the help of her mom for Jaxon and the new babies. So creative and thought full of her. I can't wait to dress them all alike.

We set up a few decorations for Jaxon's party.

We did a Word World theme so we had it playing on the t.v.

Since I have been on bed rest and have very little time to actually do anything I decided to go with salad and pizza for his party.

Jaxon is a big fan of pizza so it worked out!

Jaxon really loved his bag from Kathryn & Mike. I don't think it would have mattered what was in it :)

Of course he loved his new giant coloring book and arts & crafts supplies.

The scooter was also a big hit! He got a lot of great stuff!

The kiddo's enjoyed some time playing out in the yard.
Lukas was a pro at the tractor.
They all loved playing in the sand box.

Ren made Jaxon a sand cake including 2 stick candles. What a sweet boy!

Jaxon worked on his sliding skills!
And it's cake time.

He actually helped blow out his candles!

Nick and I love this picture of Jaxon because we can see him being a teenager here!

Time to make a mess(I mean eat)!

The ice cream was the best part.

Yummy!

We love our big boy so much!

Smooch!

Jp and Lukas playing with the train table. It was a big hit among all the boys!
Where's Ren??
There's Ren!
Thanks for letting me in on the fun Ren.

This has become a yearly tradition. 3rd year in a row Pual has brought his saw over to cut up our Christmas tree! Thanks Pual!
Silly boy!

Cute Bublick family shot.

Jaxon getting in on the action!
Saying night night to all his friends. He says "Bye. See soon!"
Jaxon had a great birthday and enjoyed his balloons long after his party! We love you big boy Jaxon!!
